In Melbourne the AGM is normally around July. Normally compaigning isn't really done just a speach before hand, aka compaigning isn't needed as not lots apply most of the time

Deliver a mind blowing speech before the vote Though, for the past two years most positions haven't been contested, as there has only been one applicant... except MWOP. There are four MWOP positions, and last year there was something like eleven people going for it.

Oh, can wiffens apply for positions too?

Anyone who is a member can apply for most positions. However if you want one of the higher exec positions, (Pres, VP, Treasurer, Sec) then you need to be 18 and have been on the exec for one year. Every other position is open to everyone. Most newbies on the exec usually start out as an MWOP. Though it's possible to start as a social coord, editor, sci coord, webmaster without having any exec experience
